Essential Skills Course
This four week course is designed to teach students some of the skills learnt
on our longer Cordon Bleu Certificate Course but without the examinations
and tests. It is practically based with lots of hands on experience. No
prior cooking knowledge is required and our aim is to instill a love and
interest in good food and confidence in the kitchen. Both classic and modern
recipes will be taught with an emphasis on presentation and taste.
Many gap year students find this course suitable for
securing work in ski chalets, villas and on yachts and later during university
vacations, but the course may be attended by anyone of any age (over the
age of 16). Certificates of attendance and references are available on request.
