Course Summary

You will be taught how to make basic pasta dough from fresh ingredients – learning how to colour and shape in a variety of styles and gain an understanding of how to use a range of useful bits of kit such as pasta machines and cutters.

After a morning of kneading and mixing,At around 1pm you will break for lunch. You and your fellow classmates will be shown to your table, where you will enjoy a freshly prepared 2 course lunch including a well-deserved glass of wine and coffee.
After lunch it’s back to the kitchen to finish off your perfect pasta creations before packaging up to take home and share with family and friends.

All of our Lifestyle cookery classes are taught by the same team that teach our professional cookery courses, and there are never more than 10 students in each class. This means that our students always gain as much as they possibly can from every experience at Tante Marie.

  • Basic egg pasta
  • Black pasta using squid ink
  • Green pasta using spinach
  • Goat’s cheese cannelloni
  • Tortellini with ricotta, lemon and pine kernels
  • Parmesan gnocchi
  • Cannoli, a fantastic sweet pasta dessert
