Pastry Chef – Necker Island

Glen graduated from Tante Marie in November 2008 and took up a position as a pastry chef at Pennyhill Park Spa and Hotel.

In April 2011 he was awarded the Academy of Culinary Arts Awards of Excellence 2011. Former winners of this award include the likes of Anthony Demetre, Mark Sargeant, Tristan Welch and many more of the industry’s leading chefs. Glen has also won various other awards including most recently the overall prize for chocolate work at the UK Open Pastry Finals at the Restaurant Show in 2013 – with the prize being a stage (work experience) at Valrhona!

Advancing from a successful role at Le Manoir, Glen now holds the position of Pastry Chef at Richard Branson’s famous, private resort Necker Island – a truly amazing achievement.
