Beginners Cookery Course: 1 or 2 Weeks

Our Beginner’s Cookery Course is the perfect starting point for those with little to no experience in the kitchen or those who wish to improve their home cooking repertoire. Students can opt to take either the 1 or 2 week course, on which they will be taken through the basic skills and techniques in cookery that will allow them to produce a range of versatile, every-day dishes.

What you will learn

This course will give you a range of key cooking skills and the confidence and enthusiasm to produce a selection of fresh, home-cooked dishes in your own kitchen.

As with all of our courses, you will be taught in a small group of students at a similar level of ability. Your whole time at the Academy will be spent in our state of the art kitchens, building your practical cookery skills and working through your recipe file of starters, mains and desserts.
